      I am not a specialist on breast cancer but mutations in some genes can contribute to cancer. However we still have a lot more to learn.

      Great question! Breast cancer happens when normal cells lose control and divide in an uncontrolled way causing a build up of cells. There are lots of factors that cause the cells to lose control- genetics, obesity, virus, smoking, lack of exercise. I hope this answers you question 🙂
