Question: whats your favourite part of your job ?

There are a few things that I really like about my job. I get to wonder about the world (or parts of it) on a daily basis and this is something I would love to do whether paid or unpaid. It is also very rewarding to be able to publish in journals and policy reports and to add to the ever growing collaboration of human knowledge (and sometimes have a small contribution to bioethical policy formation).

Other times, its the odd things. For instance, travelling is part of the job and I get to see places I would not have seen otherwise (or less frequently). I love that. But I also love airports sometimes – if early or very late, working on the laptop in an all-night airport cafe, listening to music on the earphones, with people from all over the globe coming and going around me, can be a wonderfully surreal experience…or maybe I was sleep deprived!
